"One of the most heartbreaking things to hear from audiences is that stories are "just entertainment."  Yes, I hope this series captures people's attention.  I truly hope they are engaged by what we do.  But I also hope this project makes people more aware of just how much influence stories have had over shaping and reinforcing our beliefs, perspectives, desires, expectations, expressions and actions.  I hope that our series helps make us all even more appreciative/critical of professional storytellers, and more discerning consumers of story in the future."
